Criteria and Keywords Utility
The criteria and keywords utility are broken into two sections. The first is the administration of criteria (which are used to hold collections of keywords under categories) and the second looks after the administration of keywords. Each section is discussed separately.

Special Note:
In Column Links - in tables in Ask Find Buy there will be link in the data itself. Some columns give you the ability to toggle the value from Yes to No by clicking on the link in the row. For example you can suspended or lift the suspension of a criteria by clicking on the Y or N in the row of the criteria in the suspended column. This is also how you access keywords.

In column links are used regularly in the Ask Find Buy interface so you should be aware of what to look for.

Criteria Screen
Using the Criteria Screen allows you to create a criteria that will be used to organisation your keywords in collections. Each criteria must have a unique name, Category 1 and Category 2 selection.

Creating a Criteria
Click on the create criteria link that will appear just below the main toolbar, this opens the Create Criteria screen. To create a criteria you must have a unique name for the criteria as well as selecting Category 1 and Category 3. Enter the name and select Category 1 and Category 2 from the drop down menus, and then save the criteria. You will be taken back to the Criteria and Keywords Screen allowing to add keywords and indicate if it is going to be an online criteria.

If you are unsure which categories to use you can use the tool at the bottom of the screen. Enter a word that describes your service or product and click on the "Show suggested categories" button. A screen will open showing the categories that contain this word.

Manipulation Criteria
The using the In Column links you can manipulate the criteria you have created.

Suspended
You can toggle criteria between suspended and unsuspended by click on the In Column link. Suspended criteria will not be used when accessing to see if an enquiry has any matches with what you have created.

Online
Some traders, products or services can not be transacted online. If a customer chooses the “online” option only criteria that have the online option selected will be accessed.

Delete
By clicking on the “Delete” In Column link you delete the criteria from your account. This can not be reversed. If you no longer want to have a criteria assessed it safer to suspend than delete.

Keyword Screen
A criteria will display the number of “Keywords” that have been created in that particular criteria. This number is the In Column link to open and administer the keywords for that particular criteria.

Post Code Tools
The Post Code Tool allows you to specify the area which you believe is local to your business. We have allowed sellers to set their own local area as each industry is different. What may be local to a courier may be vastly different to a hair dresser. Either way we use Post Code to establish boundaries.

The screen has several features that are worth mentioning. The post code screen uses In Column Links like all administration screens in Ask Find Buy. Each column displays different information for usability. The left column show suburbs and their corresponding post code. The information is displayed in this way as one post code may have several suburbs, or a suburb may have several post codes. By clicking on the Add in column link you will add this post code to you list of local post codes. When this is done all the suburbs for that post code will disappear from the left list and the post code will appear in the right column indicating that it a local post code to you.

The right column displays the postcodes that have been selected as being local. In this column only the post code is shown. The information is displayed in the abbreviated manner to make the list easier to maintain. To remove a post code from this list you click on the in column link Remove. This will remove it from the right column. Once removed it can re-added of you wish. It may appear in the left column if it is in your default local area, or will appear in the left column if you search for the location by post code or suburb.

Reporting
The reporting menu currently has two reports to help you get the most out of Ask Find Buy. The default view is the Match report. This report shows you the criteria that have been getting the most matches. This is valuable marketing information and may help with such things as Search Engine Optimisation for your website. If you know what criteria are the most matched you will know what keywords are the most successful and you can optimise your website for these keywords.

The second report is based on post codes. This report shows you the location of the matches based on the post codes of the customer. This is also valuable when you want to place advertising in the print media. Knowing where customers are a match to your service or product makes your print advertising more effective.

Purchase History
The purchase history screen lets you instantly see how much you are spending per month with Ask Find Buy. Each month has an “In Column Link” that will take you a screen showing each purchase in detail.
